Our Story
I’m Helen (Helby), Registered Weight Management Coach and Founder of The Shift Project. I help people feel better, think clearer, lose weight and perform at their best - at work and in life.

My qualifications include diplomas in Weight Management Coaching, Nutrition, and Human Resources, and I’m currently completing my certification as a Menopause Coaching Specialist. My work is shaped by both formal training and decades of senior leadership experience across insurance and manufacturing.
​
I understand the realities of busy, demanding lives - long hours, travel, shift work, physically demanding roles, and constant performance pressure - and how these impact energy, focus, safety, and wellbeing.
​
My approach is grounded in lived experience. I was a solo parent for many years, I support aging parents, I’m navigating perimenopause, and I’m a hands-on grandmother who values strength, mobility, and energy for real life. Earlier in life I was a professional dancer, and in 2024 I ran a marathon - experiences that reinforced how powerful the right nutrition, movement, and recovery can be.

I’m passionate about helping individuals feel strong and confident in their bodies, and supporting organisations to improve wellbeing, engagement, and performance through practical, evidence-based lifestyle change.
